(Preferred)No Experience Needed, Will train.Detroit Body Guards Protection Unit, LLC is seeking the position of an Armed Security Officers.As a Professional Security Officer for Detroit Body Guards Protection Unit, LLC you will be Responsible for the Safety and Security of our Client’s property and personnel.You be will also be responsible to familiarize yourself with all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Patrol the premisesReport safety issues, such as fire hazards, vandalism and suspicious or criminal activityWarn patrons of possible rule-breaking, and eject those who violate rules or cause disturbancesUse detection devices to screen individuals for weapons or ensure only authorized employees enter restricted areasKeep an eye on the entrance and exit to prevent theft and ensure workplace securityStand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of timeQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Be at least 21 years of age. (Required)A high school diploma or equivalent (Required)Must pass background check (Required)Must have a current and valid CPL. (Required)Gun Registration (Required)Must be willing to work weekends, 12 hours shifts and holidays if needed. (Required)Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficient.All applicants must have reliable means of transportation (Private Only) (Required)Must be hard working, self-motivated, punctual, and exercise good judgment.Have the ability to complete all necessary reports utilizing computer and/or smartphone technology. (Required)Type: Part - Time Education:A high school diploma or equivalent.
