Role: HR GeneralistLocation: Bayside NY preferred, open to Commack, NYIn Office Schedule: 5 days in officeCompensation: $110,000 – $120,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus and benefitsOur client is a leading insurance agency operation that has grown and is continuing to expand across the East Coast into a thriving organization with multiple locations and ambitious plans for future growth.They are seeking an HR Generalist to support HR for a growing workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to partner closely with leadership and the HR team while contributing across the full employee lifecycle as the business enters its next phase of growth.This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, supporting employees and managers, and helping build scalable HR processes within a growing organization.As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for:Supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle across a growing organizationManaging onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations activitiesAssisting with compensation, benefits, payroll, and leave administration processesSupporting recruitment efforts, interview coordination, offers, and new hire onboardingManaging HRIS data and helping maintain efficient HR processes and reportingPartnering with leadership and employees on HR-related matters and business initiativesSupporting salary planning, employee development, and workforce planning activitiesManaging employee records, licensing administration, and HR compliance requirementsAssisting with HR reporting, process improvements, and operational efficienciesHelping build and support the HR function as the organization continues to scaleKey requirements:4-6 years of progressive HR experience within a generalist capacityExperience supporting employee relations, payroll, benefits, compliance, and talent processesStrong knowledge of HRIS platforms and ADP Workforce Now experience requiredExperience supporting professional services, insurance, financial services, or similarly professional work environments preferredRecruitment experience strongly preferredConfident self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple prioritiesWarm, approachable HR professional with strong relationship-building skillsStrong attention to detail, discretion, and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to HR supportCommitment to creating a positive employee experience and building long-term relationshipsAs a specialist HR & Reward search and recruitment firm, we’re excited to partner with a rapidly growing organization that is investing heavily in its people infrastructure and future growth.
