Gulfstream G550 Pilots

Captain and First Officer | TIDE LLC| Clearwater, Florida

TIDE LLC is hiring a Captain and a First Officer for planned Gulfstream G550 operations. Both positions are based in the Clearwater, FL and support domestic and international travel. We seek pilots with sound judgment, strong crew communication and the discretion required to serve a private aircraft owner and guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight planning, weather assessment, performance calculations, weight and balance, and aircraft inspections.
• Use aircraft checklists and effective crew resource management; perform flying and monitoring duties appropriate to the assigned crew position.
• Coordinate fuel, ground handling, customs and trip logistics; report discrepancies and coordinate maintenance with approved providers.
• Maintain accurate flight and training records, required currency and aircraft readiness.
• The Captain serves as PIC with final authority over safe flight execution. The First Officer supports the Captain and performs assigned SIC duties.

Qualifications for both positions

• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate; sound judgment, discretion and a documented record of safe flight operations.
• Valid passport, ability to travel internationally, and Tampa Bay residence or willingness to relocate.
• Availability for changing schedules, nights, weekends and overnight travel. Required aircraft training and crew qualifications must be current before flight assignment.

Captain qualifications

• FAA ATP certificate with airplane multi-engine land privileges; G-V type rating with PIC privileges, applicable G550 differences training and current proficiency qualifications.
• Current or recent operational G550 experience, approved aircraft-specific training, and experience leading a two-pilot crew on international business-jet flights.
• Preferred: 5,000 total hours, 2,000 PIC hours, 1,500 multi-engine hours, 1,000 turbine hours, 500 turbine PIC hours and 100 G550 PIC hours.
• G550 training within 12 months, corporate aviation and oceanic operating experience preferred.

First Officer qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with airplane multi-engine land and instrument ratings; ATP preferred.
• G-V rating with privileges appropriate to SIC duties and intended operations; applicable G550 differences training and current aircraft-specific SIC qualifications before assignment.
• Experience in multi-pilot turbine operations. Preferred: 2,500 total hours, 500 PIC hours, 1,000 multi-engine hours and 500 turbine hours.
• Current or recent G550 flying, international experience and approved G550 training within 12 months preferred.
